Things to do in Hartford in February
February is cold and your home is warm, but don’t get caught with cabin fever this winter! There are plenty of things to do and opportunities to get out and enjoy what the community has to offer. Here are a few options to get you out of the house this month:
More than 100 performers, 400 colorful costumes, and beautiful backgrounds all combine to create the mesmerizing show, Shen Yun: A Performance 5,000 Years in the Making. The amazing dancers, drummers, and vocalists will give you a sensational show, bringing the story of Chinese civilization to life, transporting you to far away lands and sharing ancient legends through stunning visuals.
- If you’re a senior – or turn 50 anytime in 2020 – and enjoy winter sports, this event is for you: Senior Winter Games at Ski Sundown. The event is held on February 11, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Pre-registration must be completed by Feb 5. Events include downhill, giant slalom, snowshoe, and speed trap.
